The Fund for the Public Interest looks to make an impact on our health, environment and democracy.
I worked in house for two years with this organization as a graphic communications designer on their communications team called GRFX. In this role, I engaged with many regional directors, local executive directors and national policy teams who were in the halls of power negotiating ways to reform our legislation in protection of the public and their needs.
In my worked I created fundraising and knowledge based understanding that could go to the young organizers who connected door to door and as well as the speaking sessions held by the effective social interest lobbyists that stood in congress to bring the public voice forward.
Some of the communications I wrote and designed went to legislators offices or into the halls of congress with social interest lobbyists, others to front doors — on each side of creation this brand held a movement that was looking to create national change through place-based refinement.
